Tournament Structure and Scheduling
- Due to the workload associated with Men’s Club tournaments, particularly the calculation and tracking of Player of the Year (POY) points, and the lack of club support for Men’s Club–run events, the board discussed restructuring the tournament schedule.
- Proposal discussed:
- Reduce Men’s Club–run tournaments from seven to three
- Add a Member/Member tournament
- No changes will be made to tournaments run by the club (Roger/Clyde):
- President’s Cup
- Senior Club Championship
- Club Championship
- Consider adding Men’s Club–run skins games during months when tournaments are removed.
Tournament Leadership
- Tony Serittella and Rusty Jenkins will serve as Co-Tournament Chairs for the 2026 season.
Player of the Year (POY) and Payouts
- Investigate whether Golf Genius can be used to calculate POY points.
- Cash payouts for tournaments were discussed:
- Only feasible if participants pay cash.
- No POY points will be awarded for away tournaments.
- Maximum participation for Men’s Club tournaments is currently 40 players.
Course Updates
- Aeration Dates:

Financial Update
- Overall financial status is good.
- Tony Serittella was recognized for effectively managing tournament and Team Play costs.
- Current Men’s Club membership is approximately 64 members.
- Action item:
- Increase membership through additional marketing to Moorpark Country Club members.
