Board Meeting Minutes

Member/Guest or Member/Member Event

  • Due to current club-related complications, a Member/Guest event is not feasible at this time.
  • The board is now considering a Member/Member format as the preferred alternative.

Additional Ideas Discussed:

  • Potential 9-hole Par 3 contest on Friday
  • Distribute betting sheets to allow players to organize private wagers
  • A Calcutta-style format was also discussed

Status:

  • Costs and sponsorship opportunities are currently being evaluated

Men’s Club Sponsored Tournaments (Payout Structure)

  • Proposed payout structure:
    • 2 Gross Places
    • 6 Net Places
  • 1st Gross and 1st Net payouts to be equal
  • Remaining prize pool distributed across other placements
  • Tentative allocation:
    • 20% Gross
    • 80% Net

Club Budget & Membership

  • Current Membership: 57 members
  • Bank Balance: $13,253

Projected Expenses:

  • Player of the Year payouts
  • Ryder Cup-related costs
  • Approx. $800 per tournament funded by the Men’s Club

Upcoming Events & Scheduling

  • April:
    • No Men’s Club tournament currently planned
  • May:
    • Potential 2-Man Net Skins Tournament
